This procurement is intended to engage contingent labour support services for Elevating Device Inspection. The objective is to have a backup plan to supplement or replace the Technical Standards and Safety Authority's workforce in the event of a labour disruption. The agreement will be on a non-exclusive, as and when needed basis. Successful proponents may be called upon at any time during the agreement term. Elevator contractors currently providing maintenance or installation services in Ontario are excluded from bidding due to conflict of interest. There is no guarantee of specific assignments, volume, level of business, or revenue. Proponents must meet a minimum score of 80% in Stage 1: Technical Evaluation to be considered for award. Additional details for specified positions can be found in Appendix B: Requirements and Scope of Work.
