Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lombard, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Bid proposals for this project will be considered to determine the lowest responsible bidder. Judgment on the award of the contract shall be based not only on cost, but also on past performance, experience, and ability to perform the work. The Village of Lombard reserves the right to accept the proposal deemed to be in its own best interest based on all of the above considerations and other considerations the law allows in determining the definition of ‘responsible bidder’. Bids will be acted upon by the President and Board of Trustees. Pre-qualification: Required Est. Completion Date: Oct. 31, 2026 The proposed work is officially known as “CONCRETE ROADWAY REHABILITATION”. The work will include Class B Patching located throughout the Village of Lombard, and the construction of roughly 200 linear feet of new sidewalk requiring about 20 feet of barrier curb. Approximate patching locations can be seen on the map in Appendix 1 of this document. The work will also include patching open utility digs as needed. Plans and location for the new sidewalk can be seen in Appendix 1. Please note that the patching locations are subject to change and may be added or subtracted as warranted by the Village. It will be the CONTRACTORS responsibility to submit a quality control plan before construction begins. All of the above, as well as other project details, are further described in the contract documents for the said work prepared BY THE VILLAGE OF LOMBARD. Please note that any work in the neighborhoods around Schafer Elementary School must be done between the end of classes in the Spring of 2026 (typically the end of May) and the beginning of classes for next year (typically the middle of August).
