Renovation of a library in Stratford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Town of Stratford is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors with proven industry experience to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all else necessary to perform upgrades to the elevator located at Stratford Library, 2203 Main Street, Stratford, CT. The complete scope of work is detailed in the Contract Documents prepared by Snyder Architects, LLC, Trumbull, CT. The program is funded through the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to Federal prevailing wage rates and all applicable requirements. Bidders must certify their eligibility and confirm they are not excluded from Federal Procurement or Non-Procurement Programs. A five percent bid bond or equal approved security must be submitted with the proposal. Site access for installation will be available upon notice of award, weather dependent, and the successful bidder will be required to complete the project per the agreed schedule. Submissions must be sealed and clearly marked as specified. No bid will be accepted from or contract awarded to any person or company in arrears to the Town of Stratford or who has been a defaulter within the prior five years.
