Renovation of a mixed-use development in Albany, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a office development; and multi-residential development.

The project requires comprehensive consulting, design, bid, and construction phase services for the renovation of Building 24 and Dorm Buildings A & B at the Harriman Campus in Albany, New York. The scope of work includes detailed design, development of specifications, field surveys, cost estimating, and construction administration and support. Interior renovations for Dorm Buildings A & B involve abatement and complete gutting and rebuilding of dormitories, showers, restrooms, and associated systems such as HVAC, lighting, ceilings, and flooring. Exterior improvements for all three buildings include new EPDM roofing, removal of existing masonry, installation of new metal panel cladding, and replacement of windows and doors. This will be a multiphase project, with construction anticipated to proceed one dorm building at a time. The project may require architectural, engineering, and BIM capabilities and is subject to a $40 million construction cost.
