Lead Service Line Replacement Congressional Phase The work involves locating service connections, inspecting and/or replacing approximately 50 lead or galvanized service lines, identifying and documenting service connection materials, meeting federal notification requirements, distributing owner-purchased pitcher filters and filter cartridges; and providing all materials, equipment, construction, and services inherent to the work. Service connections are to be continuously investigated and/or replaced until approved EPA Community Grant funds have been expended. Sealed bids are invited, with bidding per the Illinois Compiled Statutes and subject to applicable state and municipal provisions. Request electronic bidding documents by email with complete contact information and specified subject line. Official documents are available only to registered requesters. Submit sealed bids with bid security at 5% of the total bid. Funding is through an EPA Community Grant, and compliance with certain Federal provisions is required. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing by email as follows.
