Site work and new construction of a power facility in Dothan, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility.
Bid on Substation Control House, per bid specifications. Sealed bids are required. No emailed, faxed or late bids can be accepted by law. This specification defines the requirements for the design, engineering, fabrication, and delivery of a 12 ft x 16 ft single-room precast concrete modular Substation Control House. The unit shall be manufactured in the United States in a NPCA Certified Factory and delivered as a complete, ready-to-install assembly. The Substation Control House shall include all structural components, electrical systems, and auxiliary equipment necessary for operation, including but not limited to protection and control relays, panels, wiring, and associated hardware as specified herein. The standard exterior finish is exposed aggregate, GREYSTONE GRAY. The supplier shall be responsible for ensuring that the control house is fully integrated, factoryassembled, and tested prior to shipment to minimize field installation and commissioning efforts. B. SPECIFICATIONS Engineered drawings for bid purposes are attached and provide the specification for building, relays, and equipment. Any deviations or alternate products must be clearly noted in bidder's proposal and complete spec sheets submitted with the bid documents for the City of Dothan and Engineer Firm to approve for acceptance. Failure to provide documentation for alternate products shall result in rejection of bid. PE sealed Engineering Analysis package from the successful bidder is required showing structural design calculations, anchorage detail, foundation detail, and wiring diagrams prior to construction. C. WARRANTY Building shall carry five (5) year structural warranty from date of delivery. Component accessories will carry the original manufacturer's warranty.
