The work will include, but is not necessarily limited to, 2,750 square yards of milling, 700 tons of binder/leveling course, 260 tons of wearing course, and other work specified in the contract. A certified check or bid bond for 10 percent of the total bid is required, issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only questions submitted online via PennBID will be considered. Bonds, compliance with the Pennsylvanian Prevailing Wage Act, OSHA, Act 229 of 2002, Pennsylvania One Call Act, Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222, noncollusion affidavit, non-discrimination regulations, and Public Works Employment Verification Act are required. The right to accept or reject any or all bids is reserved by New Oxford Borough Council.
