Sealed bids are invited for the following materials to be delivered to the Highway Garage at 714 Route 203, Spencertown, NY 12165, and other sites throughout the town: 1) Crushed Stone Products, Sand, Gravel, and Bituminous Asphalt; 2) Culvert Pipe, Guard Rail, and Geotextile Fabrics; 3) Tree Removal. Bidders may submit bids for any one or all items. Bidders must be qualified suppliers and have sufficient stock on hand for emergencies. All prices must be firm for the year. The contract period is from April 2026 until April 2027. Materials and services must be delivered during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. Delivery of materials is required within 72 hours of notice, and any rejected materials must be replaced within 48 hours at no additional cost. An award does not guarantee the purchase of a specific amount of material. The Town reserves the right to purchase from County or State contracts if it is in the Town's best interest. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Proposal Form(s) in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder’s name, place of business, and items bid. Faxed or electronically transmitted bids are not accepted. Non-collusive bidding certificates must accompany all bids. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
