The project consists of the replacement of Griffith Memorial Stadium with new grandstands, support structures, site and field rehabilitation, and installation of new synthetic turf infield, all located on the existing campus properties. The scope includes demolition and removal of the existing grandstand, shade cover, fencing, lighting, paving, and other designated site amenities. Sitework will involve clearing, grubbing, grading, erosion control, construction of concrete walks, ramps and stairs, a backstop wall, netting system, surface and subsurface drainage, grassing, fencing, field/site lighting, and utility systems. Additional work comprises constructing a new entry gate, scoreboard, flagpole, foul poles, modifications to the home batting cage structure, rehabilitation and re-covering of the existing outfield fence, and installation of new home and visitor bullpens/batting cages. New construction will include an entry gate, three-section grandstands with press box, home and visitor dugouts, and a new high-bay grandstand shade cover as Alternate No. 1. The project is to be completed within 360 calendar days. Instructions specify plan deposit requirements, with a refund condition for returns within 15 days after the bid date, and an option to purchase a digital set that is non-refundable.
