Site work and paving for a road / highway in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of paving 3 inches compacted thickness of Hot Mix Asphalt using 4LT 58-34s HMA on a 20-foot-wide roadway for Little Wood Lake Road from State Highway 70 toward Crosstown, south approximately 0.90 miles. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The successful bidder shall provide all traffic control, including signage and/or certified flaggers, in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Wisconsin MUTCD Supplement. The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to the start of work. Sealed bids must clearly state "LRIP BID" on the envelope and be submitted to the specified address. This project shall comply with LRIP and State of Wisconsin requirements applicable to the Local Road Improvement Program. The Town of Wood River reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
