The Town of Spencer, Marathon County is accepting bids for the following: State Spec #2 5/8" base course (bid in tons, amount to be determined), 3" or less breaker run (bid in tons, amount to be determined), DOT grade 3 crushed granite not to exceed 5/8" in diameter (bid in tons, amount to be determined), decomposed crushed and screened granite (bid in tons, amount to be determined, will only accept natural water in granite), calcium chloride dust control for town roads, and asphalt crack sealing on blacktop roads in the Town of Spencer. Materials must be delivered anywhere in the Township of Spencer. The successful bidder must furnish a certificate of liability and workers compensation insurance before work is started. Sealed bids will be opened at a Town Board meeting at the Town Hall. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
