Renovation of a municipal facility in Bridgton, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The selected contractor will provide labor and materials necessary to replace existing fasteners on the corrugated metal roof at the Transfer Station. Work includes installation of new lifetime fasteners on the existing corrugated metal roofing system, removal and replacement of existing roof screws where necessary, ensuring proper fastening and sealing of the metal roofing panels to maintain weather protection, and removal and proper disposal of all debris generated from the project. Contractors must be properly licensed and insured to perform roofing work in the State of Maine, provide proof of general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage, comply with OSHA safety standards, and provide warranty information for materials and workmanship where applicable. Site visits are recommended prior to submitting a bid, and contractors are responsible for verifying existing conditions. Sealed proposals must be received by the Town Office by the specified deadline. The Town of Bridgton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or bids, to waive any formalities in the process, and to ultimately make a selection deemed in the best interest of the Town of Bridgton.
