Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Hanson, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work encompassed under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, filing for applicable State and Local permits, temporary road construction, stream diversion, removal and replacement of existing culvert with a pre-cast structure, coordination with the Town of Hanson, erosion control, and providing all materials, labor, tools and incidentals necessary to complete the work to the satisfaction of the Owner. Each sealed bid must be marked "Pratt Place Culvert Replacement Project" and accompanied by bid security in the form of bid bond, certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bidder may withdraw their Bid within 90 days after the opening. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to Roy Messier, Senior Project Engineer for Verdantas email: rmessier@verdantas.com by April 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance Bond, 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required insurance certificates, and execute the Agreement within 10 calendar days following notification of Acceptance. Bidders are responsible for checking the website for any addendum posted. All bids are subject to prevailing wage rates, and the award of contract is contingent upon the Town's receipt of all regulatory approvals and sufficient funding. Minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Questions must be submitted in writing via email.
