Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cascade, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work includes the full reconstruction of 3rd Ave SW and Hayes St SW, approximately 4,680 square yards, including curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway restoration, approximately 1,350 linear feet of water main and water services, approximately 1,250 linear feet of sanitary sewer main, sanitary manholes, sanitary services, storm sewer, storm intakes, temporary erosion control, and turf restoration. The reconstructed roadway will be 31 feet wide with alternative bids for Portland cement concrete or hot mix asphalt. Each bidder must include a bid security equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, and must provide a corporate surety bond for 100 percent of the contract amount upon award.
