Site work and paving for a civil project in Howard, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the Brantwood, Elmhurst, Fairdale, River Grove Watermain & Roadway Project with approximate quantities as follows: 2,100 L.F. of watermain, 7,500 tons of base course, 200 L.F. of storm sewer, 1,500 tons of asphalt, and 4,000 C.Y. of excavation. Bidding and award of work are subject to the provisions of Section 61.55 and 66.0901. Each proposal must include a bid bond or certified check equivalent to 5% of the maximum proposal. The Owner may reject any or all bids and waive or not waive informalities in the bids received. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 150 days of the bid opening. Bidders must submit bids in a sealed envelope addressed to the Village Engineer, marked with the bidder's name and address, project title, and contract number. Bidders must use bid forms included in the contract documents. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
