B. The City of Copperas Cove Lift Station Rehabilitation Improvements work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the lift station rehabilitation improvements for eight (8) lift stations throughout the city. The eight lift stations include: Dryden I, Dryden II, South Meadows, Veterans, Fairbanks, Skyline, Mesquite West, and the Starbucks lift stations. Generally, the proposed repairs include the addition of interior protective coatings for the existing concrete wet wells. The South Meadows and Veterans lift station improvements also include structural foundation repairs. The Fairbanks lift station improvement plan includes the abandonment of the existing lift station and the construction of a new 8-Inch gravity wastewater main to re-route the station flows to an existing, adjacent, collection system. The Mesquite West lift station improvements include the abandonment of the existing lift station pumping equipment and the installation of a package well mounted lift station on the existing wet well. The improvements include associated piping, site and lift station appurtenances. All the individual lift station rehabilitations will require bypass pumping plans and implementation as identified on the plans. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, April 9th, 2026, at 1:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the City of Copperas Cove Public Works Conference Room, located at 1601 N 1st St, Copperas Cove, TX 76522. Immediately following the pre-bid meeting, we will be visiting sites for the project as needed. The Pre-Bid Conference and site visits are non-mandatory prerequisites to bid submission.
