Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Working plans call for the demolition of a 71,782-square-foot educational facility; and for the construction of a 69,960-square-foot educational facility.
Construction of the Erwin Montessori School (approximately 69,960 SQFT) on the site of the former Archer Elementary School. Scope shall include demolition and abatement of the existing Archer Elementary School (approximately 71,782 SQFT). Site Work shall consist of grading, storm drainage, utilities, site improvements, paving, landscaping, and fencing. The New School shall be 2 stories supported by a steel structure. The building envelope consists of Brick Veneer and Storefront Glazing, Standing Seam, and Membrane Roofs. Interior Walls are Metal Stud and Masonry. The building will receive new MEPs and interior finishes to include Paint, Acoustic Ceilings, Carpet Tile, Ceramic Tile, Athletic Flooring, LVP, Typical Casework, and Building Specialties to include Food Service and Athletic Equipment. Bid Packages may be added and/or deleted at the discretion of the Construction Manager. Historically underutilized business firms are encouraged to pre-qualify
