This project is the restoration of approximately 9,435 linear feet of Reedy Creek from Hood Road to Interstate 485 and restoration of approximately 3,155 linear feet of Reedy Creek Tributary 2 from Robinson Church Road to the confluence with Reedy Creek Main Stem in Charlotte, NC. Stream restoration measures include in-channel and floodplain grading, grading back of existing banks, placement of in-channel structures, bank stabilization, and stabilization of incoming tributaries and drainage features. Work will also include installation of erosion control measures and planting of native riparian plants in the project area. Proposals must be made on standard forms furnished by the County. No verbal or electronic bids will be accepted. Single-prime, unit cost bids will be received for construction as indicated in the bidding documents.
