The project is expected to be awarded on May 27, 2026** Reference Number 0000418325 Source ID PU.AG.USA.1062.C15416201 Piggyback Contract No Santa Rosa County District Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified fencing contractors to furnish and install a perimeter fence in the aesthetic of aluminum decorative fence and/or matching color powder coated fence at Gulf Breeze Elementary School campus. Fencing will replace existing fencing. The School District is requesting three (3) separate proposals, each for height requested in solicitation. Prices quotes shall not include Federal or State taxes. The School District will furnish the successful Contractor with a tax exemption certificate upon request. The Contactor will adhere to and meet all Federal, State, and Local regulations, and shall be licensed to do business in the County and Cities of Santa Rosa County. The Contractor shall provide laborers, personnel, and supervisors who are: Thoroughly familiar with the type of construction involved and materials and techniques required. Properly trained and qualified for work of this type. The School District reserves the right to refuse to accept services from any personnel deemed by the School District to be unqualified, disorderly, or otherwise unable to perform assigned work. Personnel shall not engage in any argumentative, idle, unnecessary conversation or contact with School District employees, students, or visitors. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity and shall be responsible for taking such disciplinary action with respect to his employees as may be necessary. Upon receipt at the job site, all materials shall be checked to ensure that no damages occurred during shipping or handling. Materials shall be stored in such a manner to ensure proper ventilation and drainage and to protect against damage, weather, vandalism, and theft. All debris related to this project shall be cleaned up each day before the work crews leave the site unless permission is given by the School District Facilities Supervisor to do otherwise. Areas to be left in a condition equal to that which existed prior to commencement of operations. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to remove and dispose of, in a proper and acceptable manner off-site, all debris related to the project. A standard manufacturer's warranty for materials and workmanship shall be provided in writing. All potential Contractors are to submit business proposals including: A brief company history Key staff who will be in a supervisory role for this project, including years of experience Provide a minimum of three (3) references, from clients either past or current, from whom proposer's company has provided similar service as listed in this RFP. References shall include, at a minimum, client and/or School District's name, address, contact name, contact telephone number, and project summary provided by Proposer. All measurements provided are approximate. Contractors are to verify all measurements before submitting a proposal. Approximate length of fencing is one thousand, four hundred, sixty-nine feet (1469'). Fence color shall be Black or Matte Black. Fence height proposals shall include: Six feet (6') tall Seven feet (7') tall Eight feet (8") tall Preferred, four (4) rail sections with spiked tops Fence sections shall be a minimum of six feet (6') in width and a maximum of eight feet (8') in width. Fencing must be installed per the manufacturer's specifications and meet all local codes. All new fences shall be secured to existing fence, where applicable, and gates for security. No gaps, holes, or potential points of entrance shall be made an accessible security breach. Fencing and gates shall be erected plumb, square, and level. Include all required gates. Gates are to be provided at all points of traffic entrance and exit.
