Mapleton Township of Minnehaha County will be accepting bids for ¾" crushed surfacing gravel, 1" crushed surfacing gravel, and crushed asphalt. Bids should include price per ton delivered to specific sites in the Township for the year 2026. The successful bidder shall show proof that the gravel meets specifications set by the SD Department of Transportation for gravel surfacing. The successful bidder may be required to provide a load test sample at the provider's expense upon request by the Township. Each load of delivered road material must have a certified scale ticket. Proof of insurance must be provided with the gravel bids. Bids must be received by 7:00 pm Tuesday April 14, 2026, at Mapleton Township Hall, 47421 258th Street, Renner, SD 57055. If responding by mail, indicate (gravel bid) on the envelope. Mapleton Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Township.
