The project includes approximately 150,000 square feet of landscape, a complete irrigation system, 22,000 square feet of concrete flatwork, and 5000 linear feet of Brick Thinwall wall with masonry columns and Entry Sign. Each bid must include a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the contract, execute the required bonds on the provided forms, and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days of notification. The owner is not required to accept the lowest bid or any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and select the bid deemed most advantageous and economical for the district. No bid may be withdrawn until 60 days after the bids are opened. If awarded the contract, bidders must provide a printed, executed, and notarized original Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) and a Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270 form.
