These works, located in the borough of La Cite-Limoilou, include the implementation of a particular road structure aimed at minimizing the loss of urban forestry. Also, the installation of lighting and traffic lights at both ends to allow alternating traffic is part of the work to be carried out. During work for TramCite, the intersection of rue Gerard-Morisset and Rene-Levesque Boulevard West will have to be closed during certain periods. Gerard-Morisset Street being the only automobile access to the area, it is necessary that a link be available to allow access for residents as well as emergency services. This link will allow safe travel for all modes, including a coexistence of cyclists with motorists on the roadway.
