The work includes furnishing all supervision, labor, material, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to install approximately 26,000 linear feet of 12" PVC water main (AWWA C909, 235 PSI min) in Erie County, including trenching, bedding, backfill, surface restoration, connections, appurtenances, testing, disinfection, and commissioning; and upgrading the existing pumping system at the Huron East Booster Station. All work must comply with ODOT and Erie County Department of Environmental Services standards and specifications, as well as those stated in the bidding documents. Bidders are instructed that bids must be submitted by email before the specified deadline. Bidders are responsible for ensuring their bids are received on time. All bids must comply with the requirements in the bid documents and Ohio Revised Code 307.86. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds. Prevailing wage rates apply as per Ohio law. There are no DBE goals for this project and no documentation of DBE participation is required. No pre-bid conference will be held, but bidders are encouraged to visit the project site and review existing conditions. Requests for information must be submitted in writing by the specified deadline. All responses and changes will be issued as addenda, which bidders must monitor and acknowledge.
