Sealed bids are invited and contract(s) will be awarded for the CTE Lab Renovation at Jeffersontown High School, Louisville, KY. The project is overseen by Jefferson County Public Schools. Bidders must be present at the bid opening. Bid documents are prepared by McCulloch Associates Inc. and are available at Lynn Imaging, 11460 Bluegrass Parkway, Louisville. The Board of Education has established participation goals of 15% for Minority Enterprises and 10% for Women Business Enterprises in all construction contracting. The owner reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, or waive any informality in bids received if it is considered in the best interest of the owner. The primary scope of this Project (Scope of Work) is the demolition and removal of existing facilities, eye wash station, demolition of part of the CMU block, flooring and accessories, ceiling grid, acoustic panels, and partial removal of plumbing. New work includes: installation of a new gypsum wall to divide the old classroom, addition of a partial-height gypsum wall and a new door in the shop space, new flooring and accessories, new ceiling grid, punching a new door in the newly divided classroom, as well as HVAC/exhaust, electrical, and plumbing work.
