The City is requesting bids from a qualified company (Contractor) to perform pipe repairs at the Water Treatment Plant High Service Pump Station located at 324 E. 5th Street, Ames, IA. This includes, but is not limited to, removing failing coatings and applying new ones, and removing damaged hardware and replacing with corrosion resistant hardware. All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. No Contractor may withdraw their bid for at least sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.
