Site work for a water / sewer project in Wildwood, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid date change as per Adda 4 The work involves the expansion of the City's existing rapid infiltration basins (RIBs) site, approximately 90 acres. The project consists of the construction and over-excavation of 7 new RIBs, installation of a new above ground flow meter and two motor operated valves, installation of 8 below grade motor operated valves, and installation of site yard piping. Site yard piping includes approximately 1,800 linear feet of 24-inch PVC reuse piping, 4,300 linear feet of 20-inch PVC reuse piping, 2,700 linear feet of 16-inch PVC reuse piping, and 1,000 linear feet of 12-inch PVC reuse piping. Additional work includes required electrical upgrades, panel upgrades, control and SCADA integration, security system coordination and integration with the City's security contractor, and installation of new monitoring wells. The existing valve and flow meter assembly, as well as existing above grade piping and portions of existing below grade piping, will be demolished as shown on the plans and per contract documents. Instructions to bidders include details on bid requirements such as a 5% bid bond, with no blueprints associated. The bid is distributed via DemandStar and bidding is not electronic.
