Renovations at Wayne Thomas Elementary School in Highland Park, Illinois, specifically for roof replacement and patch work as specified. The building re-roof is approximately 40,000 square feet and includes all framing associated with raising the roof edges, soffit work/panels, etc. Bidders must submit lump sum proposals for Bid Package 07A Roofing through Procore Bidding. The scale on drawing sheet BE2.60C is incorrect and will be updated in the IFC set. Bidders may request a site walkthrough via email. Proposals are to be submitted via Procore Bidding. All bidders are required to submit current qualifications to Gilbane Building Company via COMPASS. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid is required. Only bid bonds will be accepted as bid security. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid will be required from the successful bidder. Work must comply with the Contract Documents. Failure to comply with requirements will result in disqualification. This is a "public work" project under the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all wage, notice, and recordkeeping duties under the Act. Wayne Thomas Elementary, North Shore School District 112, and Gilbane Building Company reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
