Depending on inspection findings, filter underdrains will either be fully replaced or fitted with filter media caps, and new sand and anthracite media will be installed. Additional work includes the removal of existing media and underdrains, application of coatings, and repair of gullet walls where required. Sundt Construction (CMAR) and North Texas Municipal Water District (Project Owner) are seeking bids for GMP-1 / Work Authorization #2 of the Wylie Water Treatment Plants I, II, III, and IV Filter Media Improvements Project.
