Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Springfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed bids are requested to furnish and install a galvanized truss bridge superstructure for Addison-New Carlisle Road Bridge No. 1, a 2-span steel beam bridge for South Pitchin Road Bridge No. 1616, and to furnish decking and stringers for North River Road Bridge No. 1629. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation and possess a current Certificate of Qualification for Work Types 20 - Level 2 Bridge, regardless of whether these items are to be sublet. Fabrication of the steel beams must be from an approved fabricator in accordance with the Ohio Department of Transportation - Office of Material Management for Structural Steel Members (Supplement 1078) CMS 513.03 Level 2 Fabricator. Conditional bids will not be accepted, and prime contractors must perform not less than 50% of the contracted work with their own forces. Each proposal must include evidence of projects of similar size and complexity.
