UNIT PRICE CONTRACT includes all preparatory work required to identify underground utilities in the two work areas indicated, all site preparation work, furnishing and installing approximately 56,390 linear feet of water main which includes approximately 40,870 linear feet of 8-, 4-, and 3 inch HDPE water main installed by open trench methods, and 15,520 linear feet of HDPE water main installed by horizontal directional drilling, 29 gate valves, 95 customer service connections; construction of a water pumping station; supplying and installing remote-read water meters, and making tie-ins to the existing water Noble County Water Authority distribution system, restoration of disturbed areas and other work to complete I-77 EAST WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS - PHASE V. Bidding documents may be obtained in electronic portable document format (PDF) files from the Engineer's Office upon payment of a non-refundable deposit. Each Bidder must submit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction for Bidders. All work done under these contracts shall be subject to all Federal Davis Bacon Wage rates and rules. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All Contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The Contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in the performance of these contracts. The Contractor shall carry out applicable requirements of 40 CFR Part 33 in the award and administration of contracts awarded under EPA financial assistance agreements. Domestic iron and steel use requirements as specified in P.L. 113-76, "Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014" apply to this project.
