Sealed bids are invited for the Newton Line D Material Contract. Bids must be submitted by 2:15 p.m. local time to the specified address. The plans and specifications are available for viewing at the City of Newton. Copies may be obtained from BHMG Engineers, Inc. Bids must include a certified check, bank draft, bid bond, government bonds, or cash in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid. Each bid should be marked to identify its contents and reference specification 3763 K002. The successful bidder is required to register as a bidder, furnish in duplicate the executed Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Certified Check or Money Order, and any other required documents. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening without consent. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and determine and accept the most advantageous bid.
