Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Prince George, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Fraser River Bridge and its roadway approaches. The preliminary bridge concept from the Feasibility Study envisions a two-lane, four-span, approximately 320-metre steel girder bridge with a separated pedestrian walkway, designed to CAN/CSA S6 standards with a 75-year design service life and CL-800 live loading at a design speed of 50 km/h. These parameters are subject to confirmation and optimization during detailed design. Submissions must be submitted using one of the specified delivery methods. TIMELINE: Request for proposal for design services is underway. Lheidli Tenneh First Nation is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultants to undertake the complete Detailed Design services. The scope encompasses environmental and archaeological assessments, geotechnical investigations, structural design, hydrotechnical analysis, access road design, permitting, tender package preparation, and support for ISC and other funding and grant applications. Further update in late summer 2026, upon award.
