Renovation of a multi-residential development in Claremore, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Per the owner all bids were rejected, and the project is postponed. This will re-bid at a future date and time. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from CN & DEQ Certified LBP Contractors for the rehabilitation of one home located in Rogers County. The work includes carpentry, hazard reduction, paint, and finish, and must be completed according to the work write-up within 45 working days. The home has tested positive for ACM and LBP, and safe work practices for these materials must be followed as indicated in the attached reports. Work should begin within two weeks of notification, and liquidated damages of $100 per working day will be charged for extensions beyond the contract end date. To be considered, bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and Work Write Up. TERO certification is required for preference and proof must be provided with the bid. Bidders must comply with Tribal rules, regulations, and TERO. The purchase order will be issued to the lowest, most responsive bidder in accordance with the HACN Procurement Policy, and award is subject to fund availability. Bid instructions: Bids must be submitted by the deadline. The bidder is responsible for delivery, and late bids will not be considered. Bids will be accepted from Indian and Non-Indian bidders. HACN reserves the right to determine if a bid meets requirements and to reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the due date. Indian preference is given to bidders with current TERO certification, and Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act applies. Successful bidders must complete the TERO Labor Agreement and pay all associated fees, including a percentage of the contract award and daily fees for non-Indian employees working on the project. All required paperwork and fees must be submitted for the contract to be fully executed.
