Renovation of a military facility in Menlo Park, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Remove and replace, in their entirety, the HVAC systems serving the Beam Position Monitor (BPM) Rooms in Buildings 116 and 132. The subcontractor shall provide all labor, oversight, tools, materials, equipment, and services necessary to safely complete the work in compliance with approved BIO documents and applicable SLAC, DOE, and ES&H standards. Construction activities shall be performed primarily during the SSRL Summer 2026 shutdown period, scheduled from July 21, 2026 through October 1, 2026, with the HVAC systems fully operational no later than September 19, 2026. If equipment lead times prevent full completion by that date, the work shall be phased to complete the maximum feasible scope during the Summer 2026 shutdown, with remaining work completed during the Summer 2027 shutdown. Questions and inquiries are to be directed to the attention of the undersigned and will be accepted for response through COB on April 23, 2026. (last minute RFIs accepted on a case-by-case basis only). Please use "Section_L_Attachment_A_SLAC_Question&Answer_Log_(RFI)" to submit all questions and inquiries. Questions and responses by SLAC will be distributed to all prospective suppliers. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
