Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Topeka, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Notice is hereby given of the commencement of the selection process for architectural services for the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT). KDOT is interviewing for an architect to do seven subarea modernizations that will be released for bid over the next one to two fiscal years; Atchison, Marysville and Lincoln Subarea Modernizations will be bid next spring; Stockton, Phillipsburg, Ness City, and Jetmore Subarea Modernizations will be bid as funding becomes available. Each project will have the existing subarea building demolished before completion of the new subarea, and a temporary office trailer with restroom facilities will need to be provided for KDOT staff as part of the project. These existing subareas will be replaced with a drive-in, back-out design or a drive-through design as outlined in the program. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
