Site work for a civil project in Yankeetown, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of providing all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment required to repair the galley grease trap and holding tank at USCG Station Yankeetown. Prior to commencement, the contractor is required to coordinate with on-site personnel for site access and removal of obstacles, and must acquire all necessary permits. Temporary bathroom and shower facilities must be provided for the duration of the project. The contractor shall pump out and remove the existing grease trap and cracked holding tank and dispose of these in accordance with environmental requirements. New installations include a grinding station and panel, a drain field up to 1395 sq ft LPD, one 2000-gallon single compartment septic tank (tested and verified in the presence of the Quality Assurance Evaluator), one 1050-gallon single compartment septic tank in series, a dosing system consisting of one 1900-gallon dosing tank, two low pressure dosing pumps, a new alarm and alternating panel, and fill dirt if required by permit. Removal of a 3' x 50' section of the parking lot may be required depending on existing pipe replacement needs. Bidders are highly encouraged to inspect the work site to verify all necessary work. Work must minimize interference with facility operations during normal operating hours and may require approval for extended hours. Contractors must provide work schedules, coordinate with Coast Guard points of contact for access, and dispose of all minor refuse in accordance with regulations. Adherence to OSHA and applicable safety, security, and environmental standards is required. All trash and debris must be removed from the project area upon completion, and all work must be approved by the Contracting Officers Representative. The contractor is also responsible for warranty of workmanship for one year. Question Deadline 04/09/2026 All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to John Piskura (440)242-1917 / john.b.piskura@uscg.mil Prior to commencement of work contractor shall notify MK1 John Piskura (440)242-1917 to coordinate removal of obstacles within the facility and provide site access. o Contractor shall acquire all permits required by state and local authorities . o Contractor shall provide temporary 4 bathroom and shower facilities during duration of project. o Contractor shall pump out and remove existing grease trap and cracked holding tank and dispose of IAW environmental requirements. o Contractor shall install new grinding station and panel. o Contractor Shall Install new Installation of a new drain field up to 1395 sq ft LPD o Contractor shall Install 1 new 2000 Gallon Septic Tanks Single Compartment in Test and verify the operation of the septic system prior to conclusion of work in the presence of the Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) o Contractor shall Install of 1 new 1050 GallonSeptic Tank Single Compartment in series. o Contractor shall install Installation of New Dosing system 1 new 1900 Gallon Dosing tank, 2 new low pressure dosing pumps, new alarm and alternating panel. o Contractor shall install fill dirt if permit requires. o Contractor shall remove Parking Lot Removal 3' x 50' area for installation TBD if existing pipe underneath requires replacement.
