Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Abilene, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed project includes sidewalk construction, storm sewer modifications, milling and overlaying of State Hwy K-15/S Buckeye Avenue from UPRR to NE 5th Street and Augustine Avenue to SE 6th Street, and all other associated work as indicated on the drawings and within the specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The security checks or bonds shall be made payable to City of Abilene, Kansas, as security that the successful bidder will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The owner reserves the right to accept any bid deemed most advantageous and to reject any or all bids submitted, and to hold bids for consideration for a period of sixty days after bids are opened. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents.
