Rehabilitate and resurface PCC and ACC roadway segments throughout the City of Lawton. The work includes all labor, tools, equipment, materials, superintendence, and services necessary to execute, complete, and deliver the project within the specified contract time. Bids must comply with all solicitation requirements, plans, and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The contractor must agree to complete all work within 280 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the written "Notice to Proceed." Liquidated damages in the amount of $2,000.00 for each consecutive day beyond the completion date will be assessed. Contractors are required to meet all wage rate requirements and provide verifiable references and previous similar project experience. The contractor must provide evidence of the ability to staff two project sites simultaneously. Bids not meeting these requirements or submitted after the specified time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids based on these criteria. All bidders are presumed to have inspected the site and read the plans and contract documents before submitting their proposals. Failure to examine the site or documents will not relieve the bidder from their obligations. Contractors are responsible for all necessary permits, insurance, and coordination with other contractors, and must ensure all work is performed in a workmanlike manner in accordance with the contract documents and technical specifications.
