Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Muskegon, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a 26,500-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and road / highway.
The project consists of the rehabilitation of W. Western Avenue from Shoreline Drive to the West End. The approximate quantities of the major items of work include: 1,000 feet of 8 inch and 12 inch D.I. water main, 820 feet of 12 inch storm sewer, 6,500 feet of concrete curb and gutter, 26,500 square feet of concrete sidewalk, and 2,700 tons of HMA pavement. Question Deadline 04/06/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarification considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bidders must submit bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the instructions to bidders with each bid. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening date unless extended by mutual agreement. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. A prebid conference will not be held. Obtaining bidding documents from sources not identified in the instructions may result in failure to receive addenda or revisions.
