Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Grand Forks, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Grand Forks (the "City") invites Proposals from qualified contractors to perform as-required asphalt patching, mill & fill, base preparation and related works during the 2026 construction season on a unit-price basis. Work will be issued by the City via written Work Orders and performed up to a total anticipated budget of $160,000 (excluding taxes). No minimum quantity of work is guaranteed. The City anticipates two primary mobilizations (one early-season and one late-season). Additional mobilizations may occur for mid-season or emergency repairs. The Work may include, but is not limited to: 1. Traffic control, safety, permit, and site protection consistent with applicable regulations. 2. Saw-cutting, asphalt removal and disposal at a City-designated site (at 8978 Granby Road). 3. Sub-base/base preparation, grading, shaping and compaction. 4. Supply, placement, leveling, and compaction of asphalt 5. Shouldering and site restoration adjacent to new patches. Question Deadline 04/14/2026 at 11:00 AM PT
