Renovation of a multi-residential development in Grove, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

As of April 29, 2026 the project has been awarded. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from certified licensed roofers for the rehabilitation of one home located in Delaware County. Work will be completed according to the work write-up and must be finished within 5 working days. The home has tested positive for ACM; safe work practices must be observed in the areas noted in the attached ACM report. Work should begin within two weeks of notification, or $100.00 will be charged for liquidated damages to the contractor for each working day of extension over the contract end date. To be considered, the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up must be fully completed. Preference will be given to TERO certified bidders, with proof of certification required. The successful bidder must comply with Tribal rules, regulations, and TERO requirements. A purchase order will be issued to the responsible contractor who provides the lowest, most responsive bid, subject to the availability of funds. Instructions to bidders: The deadline for bids is April 15, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. Bids may be emailed or hand delivered. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure delivery of bids. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be accepted from Indian and Non-Indian bidders. HACN reserves the right to determine if a bid meets stated requirements and to award a purchase order in the best interest of HACN, including considerations of total cost and bidder capability. Bidders are responsible for all costs of preparation and submission of bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the due date. HACN reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Indian preference will be given only to bidders providing proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employments Office (TERO). Cherokee Nation TERO requirements apply, including a fee of 1/2 of 1% of the contract award, completion of the TERO Labor Agreement, and payment of applicable fees, including $25 per day per non-Indian employee working on the project.
