The City of Camden (the "Local Unit") has issued a Request for Proposals (26-04) for a Developer of a Community Solar Renewable Energy Project to Enter into the Board of Public Utilities' Community Solar Energy Program ("CSEP") and to Enter into a Main Services Agreement ("MSA") with The City of Camden in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1(j), N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15(44), and a fair and open process under the New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play Law, N.J.S.A.19:44A-20.4 et seq. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond to the order of the City of Camden, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the sum of the Proposal but not in excess of $20,000.00, together with a Consent of Surety. The Consent of Surety shall confirm that the Proposer to whom the contract is awarded will furnish all required bonds, including but not limited to Performance and Payment Bonds, Maintenance Bonds. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
