Renovation of a stadium in Val-d'Or, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Upgrades and improvement to the Agnico Eagle sports centre. The scope of work includes replacing the boards around the ice rink, replacing the glass panels associated with the boarding system, and reconfiguring the functional areas around the rink, including: relocating the players' bench; relocating the penalty box; and relocating the electrical wiring, fiber optics, and other conduits necessary for the operation of the scoreboard and penalty panel. Particular attention will be paid to improving the functionality of the glass panels surrounding the players' benches to optimize safety, visibility, and accessibility. This improvement will meet QMJHL requirements and enhance player safety. TIMELINE: Request for proposals for engineering services to complete design and monitor construction work is underway.
