Upgrades and renovation to the Montreal Garrison Facility located at 6769 Notre-Dame St. East, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1X9 to improve its Condition Index (FCI) and the performance. The current state of the facility presents a significant backlog of deferred maintenance, increasing operational and financial risks and limiting the Department of National Defence's ability to meet the growing needs of the Canadian Armed Forces. Main construction services are expected to include interior and exterior demolition in the presence of hazardous materials, interior renovation work, roof renovation and exterior envelope work, structural work, and the addition and/or replacement of electromechanical components. Bidders will be required to obtain and hold all required security clearances. Indigenous business participation may be included in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB).The work will be carried out over a period of 5 to 10 years. Note. The value of the construction program is estimated to be as high as $90 million. TIMELINE: The owner is currently requesting proposals from professional firms to provide construction management services for the program implementation during the pre-construction and construction phases.
