The Project includes reconstruction of approximately two miles of flood-damaged roadway. The anticipated work includes roadway excavation, multiple slope repairs, multiple MSE wall installations, riprap placement, ditch regrading, gravel roadway surfacing, removal and replacement of multiple culverts, and installation of ditch underdrains. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Owner.
