Site work for a transportation facility in International Falls, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Major components of the Work include sitework, fence and existing gate demolition, installation of new automatic gate operator, gate, and appurtenances, installation of photo eyes and detection loops, and construction of bollards. Removal of existing manual gates on Crescent Dr. and in between the FBO and the ARFF building. Installation of two new vertical hydraulic gates and associated site work and electrical work at these two locations Prospective bidders must submit bids electronically through QuestCDN, be listed on the plan holders list, and provide bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. Bids must comply with the Bidding Documents and include a signed statement of compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. Work is subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with US Department of Labor and Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and award the Contract in its best interests. Question Deadline 04/23/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than 5 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. CONSTRUCTION WILL BEGIN ON OR AFTER JUNE 1, 2026. CONTRACTOR WILL BE GIVEN 20 WORKING DAYS TO ACHIEVE SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION NO LATER THAN AUGUST 28, 2026. FINAL COMPLETION 30 DAYS AFTER SUBSTANTIAL, NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 28, 2026.
