Renovation of a mixed-use development in Baker City, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Replacement of an existing generator, battery system, and photovoltaic collector array under a commercial items acquisition. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remove and replace the generator, battery system, and photovoltaic collector array in accordance with the solicitation requirements and attachments, resulting in a fully functional and operational power generation and energy storage system. Replace existing off grid battery storage. a. The existing battery storage system is a PowerSafe DDm100-25 system with 1200 Ah of capacity, this system is at the end of its design life. b. The contractor shall remove, dispose of, and replace the existing system. Included with this item is programing the SolArk charge controller to manage battery charging for the battery manufacturer's recommended settings. c. The new system should be 1200 Ah or greater and be lead acid or Lithium Iron Phosphate and should include communications capable of integrating with the Sol Ark 15k LV charge controller. 2. Replace existing off grid electrical system backup generator. a. The existing backup generator system is a Winco PSS30F4-03/1 28kW Propane Generator. The existing generator is owned by others and will be removed prior to the start of this project. b. The contractor shall replace the generator with a 28kW Generator that uses propane fuel. The new generator shall have autostart compatible with the SolArk controller, if possible. 3. Replace existing off grid photovoltaic collectors (optional items). a. The contractor shall remove, dispose of, and replace two existing PV array systems. Each existing array is 2400 Watts. Replace the racking, the arrays and wiring to connect the system. Additionally, test PV panels in an existing array, if panels are damaged or have insufficient output contractor shall remove and replace PV panels in kind. 4. Replace existing generator powering the well pump (optional item). The existing generator is owned by others and will be removed prior to the start of this project. The contractor shall pour a concrete pad for a new generator. Replace the generator with a 15kW Generator that uses propane fuel. The new generator shall have AutoStart, unless the existing system is not compatible with AutoStart. PROJECT LOCATION This project is located on the Wallowa Mountains Ranger District on the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest in Wallowa, Oregon. A post award conference with the successful offeror is required. It will be scheduled and held within approximately fifteen (15) business days after the date of contract award. The conference will be held online through Microsoft Teams LOCATION 1. This project is located adjacent at the Sled Springs Work Center, approximately 20 miles north of Enterprise, OR. 2. Directions from Enterprise Oregon, head north on State Highway OR-3N for 20.9 miles, turn left onto NF-3035 for 0.3 miles, turn left into work center. 3. Lat / Long : (45.706528, -117.282726)
