Sealed Bid Proposals are solicited for roofing replacements at multiple schools, specifically Hep Willey School and Lalor Elementary School for Hamilton Township School District. The work is to be performed in accordance with provided drawings and project manuals, including all incidental work. Bidders must use and complete all mandated bid forms and comply with the instructions and specifications. Bids must be submitted as a single lump sum, placed in a sealed envelope with the project name, and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the project site to gain a full understanding of the scope of work. Each bidder must be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the relevant trades. Subcontractors for specific trades must also be prequalified and all required documentation, including proofs of classification and registration, must be submitted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets all material requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informality in the bidding process if in the Owner's best interest.
