The material supplied shall be Granular “A” from a quarry and must meet Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications (O.P.S.S.) 1010 November 2015. Representative gradation test results must be provided to the Township for every 1000 tonnes of material at least one week prior to being incorporated into the work. Physical test results must be provided to the Township one week prior to commencement of work, and all results must be current and representative of the material that will be used. If the material becomes suspect, samples will be taken by the Township and Contractor and sent to a third-party laboratory, and results that are not acceptable will be removed and replaced at the Contractor's cost. Road project pricing will include pre-grade, supply of material, trucking, application of water (via water truck), grading, final grading, any required traffic control and signage, and compaction costs. The road work must be completed before June 10, 2026. Any costs from delays to the Township's dust control program caused by not meeting the date will be passed on to the successful bidder, unless written consent from the Township is provided. Yard supply materials will include material and trucking to the specified yard. Aggregates supplied to Township of Lake of Bays Garages One and Three must be completed by July 17, 2026.
