A. This work will be publicly bid through MGL Chapter 149. B. The project solicits sealed bids (General Bids and Filed Sub-bids) for the proposed work in accordance with the Invitation to Bid. C. In order to be eligible and responsible to bid on this project, General Bidders and Filed Sub-bidders shall submit with their bid, issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), a current Certificate of Eligibility, and an Update Statement. 1. General Bidder shall be DCAMM certified as a Prime Contractor in the following category Prime Contractor or General Building Construction. 2. Filed Sub-bidders shall be DCAMM certified for the respective trade (Painting and Electrical Work) as applicable. Middle School Auditorium renovation including replacement of subflooring, carpeting, painting and related finishes; modifications to electrical work; modifications to fire alarm system; and all other renovation work indicated on the Drawings prepared by the Architect, Dixon Salo Architects, Inc.
